Police are seeking the assistance of the public to locate two men that robbed a petrol station in Gilles Plains yesterday, and have gained images from CCTV cameras that may help identify them.

Just after midnight, two men entered the Grand Junction Rd service station and threatened the attendant with a knife. They left the scene with cash and cigarettes.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Police responded and searched the area but were unable to locate the offenders.

Both men were aged in their late teens to early 20s, Caucasian and between 173 and 178cm tall. One had long blonde hair to his shoulders and was wearing blue shorts and sneakers. The other was wearing all black. Both men obscured their faces and as a result only a limited description was obtained.
