Police are appealing for information after an armed robbery in East Hills last week.
About 5.20am on Thursday 2 April 2015, two armed men forced their way into a newsagency on McLaurin Avenue. A 50-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were working at the newsagency which was closed.
The first man, armed with a gun and the second man, a metal bar, threatened the staff. Cash, cigarettes, stamps and a mobile phone were stolen.
They left the premises and were last seen on McLaurin Avenue heading towards Thompson Lane.
No-one was injured during the incident.
Police from Bankstown Local Area Command are investigating the matter. They wish to speak with two men who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The first man was wearing navy blue clothing and a motorbike helmet.
The second man was wearing a blue hooded jumper.
