Police have charged a man following an armed robbery that occurred earlier this morning in Goodna.
Around 12.30am, a man entered a service station on Railway Terrace and police will allege he produced a knife and made demands for cigarettes.
Police will further allege that the man then fled the scene with a quantity of cigarettes and was taken into custody a short time later.
The attendant wasn’t physically injured as a result of the robbery.
A 19-year-old Goodna man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on March 30.
