17 April 2015 – Charges Laid – Armed Robbery – Bottle Shop – Ballarat

Ballarat Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a South Australian man following an armed robbery at a bottle shop in Ballarat on Monday.

The armed robbery occurred at the licensed premises on Sturt Street just after 6pm.

Police arrested the 19-year-old man this morning boarding a bus to South Australia about 11am.

He has been charged with one count of armed robbery and remanded to appear at the Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
