Police are appealing for witnesses after a man armed with a screw driver robbed a convenience store in Nunawading on 7 April.

Investigators have been told the offender entered the Springvale Road convenience store just before 6am and perused some magazines before approaching the counter.

The bandit produced a screw driver and made demands for money.

The staff member complied and handed over a small amount of cash.

The offender then fled on foot towards Burnt Street.

He was wearing a black ‘Mossimo’ hooded jumper, shorts and white Nike runners.

Box Hill Embona Task Force detectives are investigating and have a released an image of a man that may assist with their enquiries.
