Detectives from Fawkner Embona are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Broadmeadows last month.
Investigators have been told two men brandishing kitchen knives stormed into a milk bar on Central Grove around 7.15pm on Wednesday 20 May.
One of the men forced the loan attendant to hand over cash from the till while his counterpart ransacked the shelves for cigarettes.
The two men then left the store and were last seen headed south towards Camp Road.
One of the men is described as about 175cm tall with a medium build and was wearing a red and black hooded jacket, black pants and was carrying a large dark back pack.
Officers have been told that the man spoke with an accent.
The other man is described as about 180cm tall with an athletic build.
He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black pants and a light peaked cap.
