Police will allege that at about 8pm, a man armed with a knife entered the BWS liquor store on Newton Road and threatened staff, before fleeing with an amount of cash.
Enquiries conducted by Eastern Adelaide detectives revealed the suspect may be in the State’s south-east. A search of a Mount Gambier house led to the man’s arrest there just after 1am today.
The 28-year-old Sheidow Park man was charged with aggravated robbery, and was refused bail to appear in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court on Monday.
