Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery of a fast food restaurant in West Ryde this morning.

About 12.30am (Wednesday 19 August 2015), two males walked through the drive-through area of a fast food restaurant on Victoria Road and approached a window till.

A manager of the restaurant was standing outside near the window, when one of the males took hold of him, before the second male produced a knife and threatened him, demanding money.

A sales assistant inside the premises, at the window, handed over cash and the pair fled the scene towards Endeavour Avenue.

Both employees were uninjured and contacted police.

Officers attached to Ryde Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

As inquiries into the incident continue, police would like to speak to two males who may be able to assist them.

The first male is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 18-years-old, 183cm tall, of average build, and was seen wearing a navy hooded jacket with a logo on the back and front, blue track suit pants and white running shoes.

The second males is described as being of Caucasian appearance, and was seen wearing a white hockey mask over his face, a navy-blue hooded jumper with a single white stripe on the back, dark pants, and red/orange running shoes.
