24 August 2015 – Armed Robbery – Food Store – Rochdale South

Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred in Rochdale South tonight.
Around 6.30pm, a man entered a food store on Belmore Road and produced a knife.
He made demands for cash and when the attendant refused to comply and forced the man out of the shop with a pole.
The man was last seen running towards Stellaris Way.
No one was injured and nothing was taken as a result of the incident.
The man is described as being around 180cms tall, with a slim build and was last seen wearing dark clothing.
Investigations are continuing.
