26 August 2015 – Armed Robbery – Sandwich Store – Maroochydore

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred this evening in Maroochydore.

Around 6.30pm, a vehicle has approached the drive through of a sandwich store on Aerodrome Road in a white sedan.

The man driving the car demanded money from the attendant and produced what appeared to be a firearm.

The attendant complied and gave the man a sum of cash before he drove off.

No one was injured as a result of the robbery.

Investigations are continuing.
