2 September 2015 – Update – Charges Laid – Armed Robbery – Grocery Store – Maroochydore

Police have charged an 18-year-old man for an armed robbery that occurred at a grocery store in Maroochydore last week.
It will be alleged that around 9.45pm on August 28, the teenager entered a food store on Aerodrome Road armed with a knife and stole a sum of cash from the store attendant.
He was charged with one count of armed robbery and will appear in Maroochydore Magistrate Court at a later date.
