Three men, two armed with knives and the other a bar, stole cash from an Aspley tavern last night.

Preliminary information indicates the trio entered the Gympie Road business around10.45pm where one of the men jumped onto the bar in the Bistro area, threatening a female staff member and demanding cash.

The other two males entered the Gaming Room, threatening staff before stealing cash from the tills.

The men were last seen fleeing on foot across Gayford Road and into a nearby shopping centre carpark.

All three were wearing black hooded jumpers and black balaclavas.

The first man is described as Caucasian with white facial hair and a solid build. He was also wearing black pants and white shoes.

The second man was also wearing a baseball cap, black pants and white shoes, while the third man was wearing black and white striped pants and grey shoes.

No one was physically injured and police investigations are continuing.
