16 October 2015 – Armed Robbery – Taxi Driver – Semaphore Park

Police are investigating the attempted robbery of a taxi driver at Semaphore Park this morning.
Just before 4.30am, police were called to Plover Grove after the driver had reported that he had been threatened by two women after he stopped to drop them off at a house in the street.
One woman who was armed with a knife demanded cash from the driver, but he managed to disarm her before both women ran off.
The driver was not injured and nothing was stolen from the taxi.
There is minimal description available of the women apart from both of them being of Caucasian appearance, aged in their early 20s with one in a yellow dress and the other in a pink dress.
