Police are investigating following the armed robbery of a service station at Greenacre overnight.

Just before midnight (Wednesday 21 October 2015), a man who had his face concealed entered the service station on Waterloo Road armed with a knife.

He threatened the male attendant and demanded cash, before leaving on foot with a sum of money.

The man was last seen running into Juno Parade.

The attendant, who was not injured in the incident, contacted police who attended a short time later and secured a crime scene.

Officers from Bankstown Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and would like to speak to a man described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 180cm tall, with a medium build and dark beard.

At the time he was wearing a hooded jumper and light coloured pants.
