Police are investigating the armed robbery of a hotel on Sandgate Road in Nundah tonight.
Around 6.50pm, two men entered the drive-through bottle shop section of the hotel armed with what appeared to be a knife and a meat cleaver and demanded money from a 21-year-old male staff member.
The staff member complied with the men’s demands, handing over a sum of cash. The two men then fled the scene on foot.
No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.
The two men are described as approximately 165cm-170cm tall and of medium build.
One man is described as wearing a grey hooded jumper with lighter sleeves, a white mask, dark pants and gloves. The other man is described as wearing as a black hooded jumper, a white mask, black pants and gloves.
Investigations are continuing.
