Police are appealing for information after an armed robbery at St Marys yesterday.

About 5am (Saturday 7 November 2015), a 23-year-old man was working at a service station on Forrester Road, when a man armed with a knife entered the station.

The armed man threatened an employee, demanding money.

The man left the store, taking cash, and was last seen running towards Christie Street.

No-one was injured during the incident.

Police from St Marys Local Area Command were called and commenced investigations.

As they continue their inquiries, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 30 – 40 years old, and approximately 175cm tall.

The man was seen wearing a black beanie, a dark grey “Wallabies” jacket, black woollen pants with white “Everlast” wording written on the left thigh area, and white sneakers.
