Police have released CCTV images of two males who may be able to assist with an investigation into an armed robbery at a convenience store in North Strathfield last night.
About 6.30pm (Sunday 8 November 2015), a male armed with a knife entered the convenience store on George Street, and threatened a staff member.
He fled the scene, taking cash.
The male employee was uninjured and contacted police.
Officers attached to Burwood Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to two males shown in CCTV images.
The first male depicted in the images is described as having a dark complexion, about 170cm tall, aged in his mid-20s, of medium build with long black dreadlocks, and a moustache.
He is shown wearing a grey long-sleeved top, black track pants, and a red, white and black jumper wrapped around his head.
The second male is described as being about 160-165cm tall, of medium build, with thick medium-length dark hair and is shown wearing a brown chequered shirt and khaki pants.
