A third man has been charged following investigations into an armed robbery at a western Sydney pub at the weekend.
About 10.40am (Sunday 8 November 2015) two men allegedly entered the premises on Rooty Hill Road, Plumpton; one armed with a pistol, and the other a knife.
Staff at the premises were threatened by the pair who took cash, before leaving in a blue-coloured Subaru station wagon, allegedly driven by a third man.
Officers from Mt Druitt Local Area Command were called and established a crime scene that was examined by specialist forensic officers.
About 10.15am yesterday (Monday 9 November 2015), police executed a search warrant on a home at Seven Hills.
Two 26-year-old men were arrested a short time later and were charged with armed robbery and refused bail, both appeared before court yesterday (Tuesday 10 November 2015).
About 8pm last night, a third man, aged 31, was arrested at Blacktown Police Station. He was charged with armed robbery and was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local court today (Wednesday 11 November 2015).
