A teenager has been arrested and police are searching for a second suspect after a robbery at Salisbury Park this morning.

Police will allege that at about 5.10am, patrols were called to Main North Road after a taxi driver reported that he had been threatened with a knife by one of two boys he was taking to Andrews Farm, before they stole cash and a mobile phone and ran off.

The victim was not injured.

Police searched the area and later located one of the boys in Elizabeth Vale.

A 17-year-old Andrews Farm boy has been charged with aggravated robbery and carry offensive weapon, and was refused bail. He will appear in the Elizabeth Youth Court on Tuesday.
