Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery in Sydney’s south west this morning.

Just before 4am (Thursday 10 March 2016), three men entered a licensed premise on Canley Vale Road, Canley Vale, armed with two firearms and a tomahawk.

Police have been told the armed men threatened an employee, before taking cash and running from the scene.

Although a number of patrons were present, no one was injured during the incident.

Officers attached to Cabramatta Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

As inquiries into the incident continue, police would like to speak to three men who may be able to assist them.

All three men are described as wearing hooded jumpers; one red in colour and the other two black.

Anyone with information, or any witnesses, is urged to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.
