Police will allege that at 2.45pm on Monday 7 March, the teenagers entered an Asian supermarket on Gouger Street and stole cash from the till.
A staff member was assaulted during the robbery and received minor injuries.
Investigation by detectives from Eastern Adelaide CIB has led to the arrest of five teenage girls.
All five have been charged with aggravated robbery.
Two 16-year-olds, one from Mitchell Park and the other from Brompton, and a 15-year-old from Murray Bridge were refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on Tuesday 15 March.
An 18-year-old from Christie Downs was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 7 April.
A 15-year-old from Dover Gardens was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on 8 April.
