Police are currently at the scene of an aggravated robbery at a hotel on Philip Highway.

At 9.30pm, Sunday 10 April, two men wearing black balaclavas entered the Rose and Crown Hotel and threatened staff with an axe and hammer before leaving with a small amount of cash.

The men are described as in their mid 20’s,  185cm tall, one of the men was wearing  a grey hooded jumper with a blue front pocket, black track pants with red motif on the left leg and white sneakers the second man was wearing black track pants with white stripes and a black jumper.

The men drove off in a light coloured station wagon.

The victims were not injured in the robbery.
