12 April 2016 – Arrest – Armed Robbery – Golden Grove Tavern – Holden

Holden Hill Police arrested a man overnight in connection with an armed robbery at the Golden Grove Tavern.

It will be alleged, just before 8.30pm on Monday 11 April, a man armed with a hatchet threatened staff at the drive-thru bottle shop of the tavern and stole a bottle of spirits.

Following investigations, police attended at a Redwood Park address a few hours later and arrested the occupant.

The 27-year-old man was charged with aggravated robbery.  He has not yet applied for bail.
