Police have released images of two people who may be able to assist them with their enquiries into the armed robbery of a service station in Cranbrook tonight.
Initial investigations indicate at around 7:45pm a man armed with a tomahawk and a woman entered the store on Ross River Road and threatened an employee, demanding money and cigarettes.
The employee complied with their demands before the pair fled the scene on foot.
The 63-year-old male employee was not physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, of a solid build with a goatee beard. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and a black and white cap.
The woman is described as Caucasian in appearance, of a solid build with brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black V-neck t-shirt with jeans and white sneakers.
Investigations are continuing.
