Detectives investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store at Southport in early March this year have released images of a man who they believe will be able to assist them with their investigation.
Around 12.30pm on March 1, 2016 a man armed with a stick entered a Tweed Street store and demanded cash.
The male shop attendant refused and retreated to the back of the shop. The offender then grabbed a sum of cash and fled the store on foot.
He was seen to run to a green old-style, two door tray-back utility, which he then drove off in.
No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
Anyone who recognises the man or has any information to offer police about the robbery is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Investigations are continuing.
