Police investigating the armed robbery of a bottle shop that occurred in East Brisbane on April 20 have released cctv footage and images of a man who could assist with their enquiries.

Around 11pm, a man who a short time earlier had been in the store, re-entered the Wellington Road business and approached the counter, lifting his hooded jumper to reveal a firearm to the store attendant.

The man made demands for cash, and the attendant complied.

The man then fled the scene on foot with a sum of cash. It is believed he may have then left on a motorcycle that was seen heading north along Shaftson Avenue.

No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
