Police investigating an armed robbery that occurred overnight in Caloundra have released images of a man that may be able to assist with their inquiries.
Initial investigations suggest that at 8pm, a man entered a bottle shop on Bulcock Street armed with a golf club.
He approached the female attendant and made demands for cash, and when the woman complied, he fled the store with a sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes.
Responding police have conducted numerous patrols, but the man remains outstanding.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 180cms tall with a proportionate build.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black hooded jumper, tanned coloured shorts, and black skater shoes.
