Police have arrested a man in relation to an alleged ram raid at a shop in Drysdale last month.

Three men allegedly used a white Ford Ranger ute to ram through the shopfront on Clifton Springs Rd about 2.45pm on 9 May.

The group then allegedly loaded up the ute with clothing, sunglasses and watches.

Police executed a search warrant at an Alfredton address last Tuesday and arrested a 20-year-old man.

The Alfredton man was later charged with burglary and theft.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on 30 June.

Police are yet to recover any of the property allegedly stolen during the ram raid.

Detectives are continuing to search for the other two offenders who disguised themselves with masks and gloves during the burglary.
