Sturt Police are investigating an attempted aggravated robbery at Black Forest, where a pizza shop staff member was assaulted.
Just after 7.30pm, police were called to the Amigo’s Pizzeria on South Road after a male staff member was hit in the head with a pole, after a man had demanded his wallet while the staff member was walking outside the store.
Nothing was stolen, and the staff member suffered minor head injuries.
The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 20s to early 30s, about 180cm tall, slim build, brown/blonde goatee style beard, and was wearing a black beanie, cream-coloured shirt, and a Nike black jacket and pants. He was last seen running east away from the store.
