A car believed to have been used in a ram raid on Sunday has been recovered by police at Huntfield Heights.

Sometime after 3am on Sunday 12 June, a car was used to smash the front of a Malone Street store in Morphett Vale. Computers and other electronic items were stolen from inside.

At 9.30am this morning, police attended a house in Winchley Way where they located a car suspected of being used in the ram raid. A search of the house uncovered what police believe are stolen tools not related to the ram raid.

A 56-year-old man from Huntfield Heights was arrested and charged with theft and unlawful possession. He has been bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrate Court on 15 July.

A 49-year-old from Huntfield Heights was arrested and charged with breach of bail. He has been refused bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrate Court tomorrow.

People at the address are assisting police with their enquiries into the ram raid and the investigation is ongoing.
