Police have arrested two men following an aggravated robbery at a Woodville West service station overnight.
About 1.45am a man wearing a mask entered the service station on Port Road carrying an object in his hand, possibly a screwdriver, and demanded cash from staff.
The suspect ran off with cash and was last seen heading north along nearby railway tracks.
No one was physically injured.
Patrols searched the area with the assistance of Dog Operations Unit who followed a track to the intersection of Clark Terrace and Jervois Street but was unable to locate the suspect.
At about 12pm, police stopped a car with two occupants on Lakeview Court at West Lakes for a routine traffic stop and soon discovered a mask and clothing inside the car which matched those worn by the robbery suspect.
A 39-year-old and a 43-year-old both from Adelaide were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. They have been refused bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
