July 7, 2011 – Update – Arrest – Aggravated Robbery – Hotel – Smithfield

Elizabeth Police arrested a 17-year-old youth from Elizabeth yesterday following a robbery which occurred at a hotel on Main North Road, Smithfield back on 13 June 2011.

The suspect was identified by CCTV footage after he allegedly threatened staff of the Smithfield Hotel bottle shop with a knife and stole two bottles of liquor.

He has been charged with aggravated robbery and bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Youth Court at a later date.
