11 July 2016 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – South Mackay

Police are investigating a robbery which occurred at South Mackay today.
At about 12.20pm a man entered a convenience store on Napier Street and produced a knife, demanding $50 notes.
The shop assistant handed over a sum of money before the man fled from the store.
The man is described as having a dark complexion, approximately 190cm tall, early 20’s in age, average build. He was wearing a white hooded jumper and dark coloured jeans.
