Detectives from the Armed Crime Taskforce have arrested three men in relation to an armed robbery at a Brunswick jewellery store in April.

The arrests came after warrants were executed at three residential properties in Sunshine North, Noble Park and Hampton Park early this morning.

A 24-year-old Sunshine North man, a 25-year-old Noble Park man and a 31-year-old Hampton park man are currently in custody and assisting police with enquiries.

Last month police appealed for public assistance in relation to the incident which occurred at the Sydney Road store just after midday on 14 April.

A 49-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man were injured allegedly as a result of the incident and were conveyed to the Royal Melbourne Hospital while their two children were conveyed to the Royal Children’s Hospital for precaution.

Detectives are still searching for a fourth man in relation to this incident.

He is believed to be Sri Lankan in appearance, about 173cm tall and in his late 20s to early 30s.

The man is described as skinny and clean shaven with short hair. He was wearing black jeans and a black top at the time of the attack.
