Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store in Salisbury last night.

Around 8.50pm a man has entered the store on Toohey Road and has approached a female staff member. He then produced a knife and made demands for money.

The staff member complied and the man has then left the store on foot with a sum of money.

He is described as Caucasian about 173cm tall and of a slim build.

No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.

Police investigations are continuing.
