Police are investigating after an armed robbery in the state’s central west.

Just before 12am on Wednesday 28 September 2016, a man entered a business on the corner of Cobra and Darling streets, Dubbo, allegedly armed with a knife.

Police have been told the man threatened staff, demanded their wallets and cash before fleeing the scene.

Officers attached to Orana Local Area Command established a crime scene and commenced and investigation.

Police would like to speak to man who might be able to assist with inquiries. He is described as being in his 20’s, about 165-170cm tall, of thin build, with dark eyes and tanned skin.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact detectives from Dubbo Police Station via Crime Stoppers.
