Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Cabramatta last night.
Shorty after 7.30pm (Saturday 8 October 2016), police were called to a store on McBurney Road, Cabramatta, following reports of an armed robbery.
Two men entered the store and one of the men, allegedly armed with a long tree branch, approached the shop assistant and demanded money from the cash register.
The men fled the store on foot with cash. No one was injured.
Officers attached to Cabramatta Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
Police would like to speak to two men who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The first man is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, approximately 183cm tall, and of solid build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper with white writing on the back and black pants.
The second man is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, approximately 183cm tall, and of solid build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper and black pants.
