Police investigating the attempted armed robbery of a convenience store in Logan Village yesterday afternoon have released an image of a man that may assist with inquires.
Initial investigations indicate that just after 5pm a man entered the business on Wharf Street and produced a knife in a threatening manner towards a staff member.
The male staff member refused to hand over money and the man then left the store.
The 55-year-old staff member was not physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as having a tanned complexion, approximately 170cm tall, of a solid build with short dark hair.
He was last seen wearing blue shorts, a black cap and black sneakers and no shirt.
