Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the attempted armed robbery of a service station at St Andrews last night.
About 10.30pm (Saturday 17 December 2016), while two male employees, aged 21 and 24, commenced closing procedures, two masked men, one armed with a knife, and the other with a baseball bat entered the store on Stranraer Drive, St Andrews.
The armed men demanded the employees to move away from the counter area. Neither employees moved, with both men leaving the store empty-handed.
No one was injured during the incident.
Officers from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
