Police have released images of a distinctive blue sedan as part of their investigations into an armed robbery at a service station in Glenwood yesterday afternoon (December 21).

Initial information suggests around 1.20pm a car entered the driveway of the service station just off the Bruce Highway and parked near the petrol bowsers.

A male passenger got out and entered the store armed with a machete and threatened two customers.

The man then ordered the store attendant to find a bag and put cash inside.

The attendant complied and the man took a sum of money and fled the scene in the waiting car which drove off at high speed.

The car (pictured) is described as a dark blue sedan, possibly a Holden VN Commodore or VS Toyota Lexen with no registration plates attached.

The words “Cop Hunter” are painted in white on the bonnet as well as “Crime does pay” on one side of the vehicle and “Merry Christmas” on the right side of the boot. The front head lights are also painted over.

The male passenger is described as about 175cm tall with a stock build and was wearing a short sleeved shirt, dark shorts and a dark balaclava.

The male driver was wearing a high-vis yellow long sleeved shirt and yellow motorcycle helmet.

Police have also images of a man who may be able to assist them with their investigations.

No one was injured during the incident.
