Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store in Wynnum this afternoon.
Investigations indicate just after 4pm a man entered a business on Randall Road wearing a backpack and demanded money from the female shop assistant.
The man then produced a knife and jumped over the counter before taking money and goods from the store.
He was last seen fleeing the scene on foot.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
