23 January 2017 – Armed Robbery – Restaurant – Miranda

Police are investigating after an armed robbery in Miranda overnight.

Police have been told about 10.35pm (Sunday 22 January 2017), a man entered a restaurant on Karimbla Road, Miranda, carrying a knife.

The man then threatened the shop assistant and demanded money before he left on foot headed east along Karimbla Road.

Officers from Miranda Local Area Command attended the location and commenced investigations.

Police wish to speak to a man who they believe can assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being 180cm tall. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, blue t-shirt, blue tracksuit pants and black shoes.

No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
