Police are investigating an armed hold-up at an eastern suburbs hotel overnight.

At 1.45am on Sunday 22 January, a man armed with a firearm entered the gaming room of the Feathers Hotel on Glynburn Road, Burnside, threatened staff, and left with cash.  He exited the rear car park on foot.

Staff were not physically harmed during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, about 170 cm tall, medium build, aged in his mid 30s to 40s, with blue eyes.  He wore a mask covering his lower face and dark clothing, including a hoodie.

Detectives from Eastern Adelaide CIB and crime scene investigators attended and examined the scene overnight.
