A man has been charged following an alleged armed robbery that occurred in Loganlea this afternoon.
Officers were called to a bottle shop on Haig Road shortly after 5.40pm after receiving reports that the store had been robbed.
It is alleged that a man entered the store and picked up a carton of alcohol and approached the attendant at the counter.
It will be further alleged that the man then revealed what is believed to be a knife to the attendant and then fled the store with the alcohol.
A man was located a short distance away by police and was taken into custody.
A 17-year-old Loganlea man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on February 13.
