Torquay Criminal Investigation Unit detectives have charged a boy following an alleged attempted armed robbery in Torquay last month.
A 16-year-old Winchelsea boy was charged last night with attempted armed robbery, attempted car jacking, intentionally cause injury, recklessly cause injury and unlawful assault.
He has been bailed to appear at a children’s court in March.
The incident is alleged to have occurred at a car park on Bristol Road on 22 February, with a woman sustaining a lower back injury.
