Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred this afternoon in Regents Park.
A man entered a newsagency on the Mount Lindesay Highway around 3.40pm and approached the counter.
The man was holding an unknown object, and he made demands for money.
The attendant has complied and the man fled the scene with a sum of cash.
No one was injured as a result of the robbery.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, in his late 20s to mid-30s, around 170cm tall with a medium build and has a short beard.
He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, multi-coloured shorts and a black cap.
