Armed Crime Squad detectives have charged a man after he allegedly attempted to rob a bank in Dandenong last week.
It is alleged the man attended the bank but fled once the bank’s security system was activated.
Detectives arrested a 24-year-old Doveton man yesterday.
He was charged with attempted armed robbery and remanded in custody to face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
