26 November 2017 – Armed Robbery – Pizza Delivery Driver – Bellbird

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver at Bellbird, in the state’s Hunter region, overnight.

Just before 9.30pm (Saturday 25 November 2017), a 22-year-old man delivered a pizza to a home on Atkinson Street.

After making the delivery, the man drove his white Ford Territory into Kendall Street where he was approached by a man who was armed with a knife.

The armed man threatened him and demanded cash, before fleeing with his takings.

Police were alerted and officers from Central Hunter Local Area Command attended and canvassed the area.

An investigation is underway and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
