17 December 2017 – Armed Robbery – Pizza Store – Burdell

Staff at a pizza business in Burdell were forced to the floor by a man weilding a rifle during a robbery last night (Saturday December 16).
The man entered the Main Street store around 10.50pm and demanded the six staff members lay on the ground before he stole a quantity of cash and fled on foot.
The man was seen to enter a dark coloured Commodore sedan parked nearby and driven by a second offender.
No one was physically injured during the incidents and investigations by detectives from the Townsville Criminal Investigation Branch continue.
