Police are investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred at Salisbury early this morning.
About 2.40am, Saturday 27 January, patrols were called to a convenience store on the Salisbury Highway after a man armed with a knife entered and threatened staff while his accomplice waited at the door.
The men ran away on foot after stealing a very small amount of cash and were last seen heading toward Banks Street. Police patrols searched the area but have been unable to locate them this time.
No one was physically injured and investigations are continuing.
The men are described as average build, with Australian accents and covers over their faces. The man who entered the store was wearing a dark hoodie jumper with a white motif and light grey pants, the second man was wearing blue jeans and a grey hooded jumper.
